Dayami Rosales has lived in Florida state for the past 9 years. She is a foreign physician who graduated in 1996 in Cuba. She obtained her BSN from University of Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2012 and graduated from AGM University in South Florida Campus in Miami Lakes with her Master of Science of Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner degree in December 2017.

After working as a full-time phlebotomist and laboratory assistant, her passion for nursing grew and drove her to continue her education in Miami, FL to pursue her lifelong goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. Her first RN position was held in West Gables Rehabilitation Hospital, and 3 years later, she also worked as a rehab nurse in Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Miami in the area of orthopedic perioperative care and rehabilitation medicine. At the same time, she attended graduate school, where she found her passion for nursing grew to provide the best possible care to her patients as she transitioned to the role of nurse practitioner.

 

After graduating in 2017, she has been providing medical care to patients of all ages, always focused on patient-centered care, including both preventative and curative treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, with special emphasis on education of patients, families, and caregivers. She joined Alpha Medicine & Rehab / Allied Family Health in August 2020, where she is excited to grow and learn from the amazing physicians and nurse practitioners of this practice as she gains experience in different areas of interest.

She is affiliated to the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. 
An essential principle of her practice: evaluating the patient holistically taking into account the physical, emotional and spiritual needs. 
Her main slogan is "Prevention is better than cure”. 
Dayami currently resides in Fort Myers area. She enjoys spending time with her partner, family and friends, walking on the beach and the countryside, cooking and has a special place in her heart for all animals.
